A Disney World photographer is a person who works to capture magical moments, both inside and outside the parks. From Disney PhotoPass and the all-inclusive Memory Maker packages, to Disney Fine Art photography for weddings, the Walt Disney Company offers a wide variety of photography options to fit any budget.
Disney World Photographer: Creating Magical Memories in the Happiest Place on Earth
Generally speaking, a Disney photographer is someone who is hired by guests to help them take pictures with characters and scenic backdrops. The images are then uploaded to a digital account that the customer can access and download at their convenience. While the quality of a Disney photographer can sometimes be in question, many people are happy with the results of their work.
PhotoPass
The majority of people who visit Walt Disney World take their own photos with their phones and cameras, but the parks do have a team of photographers on hand to help. These are called PhotoPass photographers and can be found in virtually every location in the park, including the iconic locations such as Cinderella Castle and Spaceship Earth. The photographers are Disney employees and can also be seen at all the character greeting locations around the parks.
There is also the option to have a Capture Your Moment session, which is a full-on photo shoot with a photographer who helps you pose and then takes a few pictures of your group. These sessions can run up to 20 minutes, and they are usually arranged at one location that the photographer is familiar with, such as in front of Cinderella Castle or by Storybook Circus.
